Hey, we got dogs!

Two weeks ago, after a thorough adoption process and lots of oh-god-are-we-ready-yet, we brought two pugs home. The time since then has been pretty much full of toys, snuggling, and poop. Lots and lots of poop.

Anyway, in case you wanted to know how cute and silly pugs look when they play, here you go.

Oh, and their names are Mabel and Henry. Aww.

This is the third (or fourth?) (call it the fifth) incarnation of EpoxyJesus: The Blog. Once again, my resolution for the new year was to share more of my knitting with ... well, the intarwebs ... or, at the very least, take some damn pictures so I can at least remember what I've made and what yarn has slipped through my fingers.

For anybody out there following my life or previous EJ postings, 2007 was a big year, a good year, a tough year, et cetera. A brief recap of the most relevant bits:

1) I decided to stay at my job, for better or worse.
2) Molly, our smelly, deaf, perpetually sick but extremely loving pug, got cancer and had to be put down in October. That set the tone for the remainder of the year.
3) I decided to put off grad school at least one more year, because I'm having too much fun in Eugene to leave it any time soon. This means more time to enjoy the state and write about it, and also spend my evenings knitting fiendishly and photographing my progress.
4) We're adopting two pugs and I intend to dote on them ad nauseam. Lucky you.
